Pack 129 Dues
Join Pack 129 in three easy steps!
1st: Scouts need to register at Be A Scout, National Scouts BSA registration site, for Pack 129 (Cherokee Trail and Campsites, Inc.)
Yearly BSA registration is $85 and is good for one year from date of payment.
2nd: Email pack129tucker@gmail.com with your child's name and grade and let us know you are a new family joining.
New Scouts pay additional Pack dues of $80. In 2024, new Scouts will get a FREE handbook this year, thanks to the Atlanta Braves! Handbook will be given when Be A Scout registration is complete.
Returning Scouts pay Pack dues of $80. This does not include your BSA registration. You will receive an email from BSA to update your registration on your Scout's anniversary date (original regsitartion date.) Note: Handbook is not included.
Please pay before the October Pack Meeting. We accept check or credit cards at Pack Meetings - or - Paypal: cherokeetrailcampsites@gmail.com (Include in notes that it is for Pack dues with your Scout's name.)Â

Pack dues cover:
Pack T-shirt
Award patches/belt loops/pins for the rank
Den supplies
Regatta boat kit/event
Pinewood Derby car kit/event
Optional additional costs throughout the year
Weekend camping about $10 per person (twice a year)
Overnight trip in February about $120 per person
Blue & Gold Banquet in February about $15 per person
Summer camp in June about $120 per person
Fundraising can offset some of these costs. Scouts have two opportunities in the year to earn "Scout Bucks" within our Pack to help pay for scouting activities. Our two fundraising events popcorn sales in the fall and Camp Card sales in the spring.
3rd: Purchase a uniform and enjoy being a part of our Pack!
Uniform and Patches
Your Scout will need:
Lions (Kindergarten): Lion T-shirt, yellow Lion neckerchief/slide and the Cub Scout belt
Tiger - Webelos (1st grade - 4th grade): BSA blue shirt, neckerchief/slide, and Cub Scout belt
Webelos (4th grade): BSA blue shirt, Webelos neckerchief/slide, and the Adventure Colors ribbon
Arrow of Light (5th grade): BSA tan shirt, neckerchief/slide (to be determined by the den), and the Adventure Colors ribbon

-OR- be thrifty, ask about our uniform trade in program. You can also find used uniforms and accessories at some thrift stores or Facebook Marketplace.

Every new Cub Scout gets a free handbook...
Every new Cub Scout who registers to join in 2024 will receive a FREE handbook for their age determined rank. This handbook is a Scout's guide to their program and where they can find everything they need to complete requirements.

Welcome to Cub Scouts! After registration with BSA every new Cub Scout will receive a launch kit via mail filled with OVER $70 of items to welcome them to a year of adventures and fun. There are over fifteen awesome tools and toys in each box, including a backpack, headlamp, water bottle, first aid kit, terrarium, whistle, watch/pedometer, and more!
