The Bear Cub Scout program is for boys and girls going into 3rd grade or between ages 8-9.

Bears will learn about hand tools and knife safety by using a pocket knife to carve a simple item. Bears will learn more about camping and the great outdoors as well as being involved in the community.

To earn the Bear patch:

Your Scout will need to complete the six required adventures and two elective adventures found in the Bear Handbook. They will also need to watch a Protect Yourself video as part of their Standing Tall Adventure

When your scout completes an adventure, they will get a belt loop at the next Pack Meeting.

As a den, we will work on four of the required adventures and at least one elective together.

The Fellowship Adventure, Youth Protection booklet (required as part of the Bobcat Adventure) and Protect Yourself video is to be done at home as a family.

You can also help your Scout earn adventures at home, please let the den leader or advancement chair know when you complete an adventure so it can be marked and awarded.
