Webelos Den - Fourth Grade

FOURTH GRADE: Ages 9-10

DEN LEADERS: Tim Cook

MEETINGS: 2nd and 4th Sunday   Time: 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm

LOCATION: Scout Hut at Kelley Cofer Park

The Webelos Scout program is for boys and girls who are going into 4th grade or between ages 9-10.

Webelos is a word made up of the first letters of: "WE'll BE LOyal Scouts".

Webelos scouts will learn how to prepare to join a Scouts BSA Troop while learning outdoor skills. A well-run group of Webelos is a gradual change from being an 'adult-run' den to being a 'scout-run' patrol, ready to fit right into an adventurous Scout Troop.

To earn the Webelos patch:

Your scout will need to complete the six required adventures and two elective adventures found in the Webelos Handbook. They must also watch a Protect Yourself video as part of their My Safety Adventure. When your scout completes an adventure, they will get a pin at the next Pack Meeting to put on their Adventure Colors ribbon.

As a den, we will work on four of the required adventures and at least one elective together.

The My Family Adventure, Youth Protection booklet (required as part of the Bobcat Adventure), and Protect Yourself video is to be done at home as a family.

You can also help your scout earn adventures at home, please let the den leader or advancement chair know when you complete an adventure so it can be marked and awarded.
